Steps to Sell a WeChat Account

While acquisition processes may vary depending on the specific case, the core steps, regulations, and warranty period agreements remain consistent.

Step 1: Check Required Information

  • Record a video or take screenshots of the following sections (Go to “Me” > “Settings” > “Account Security” or “My Account” and locate these items):
  • Device Login (“Account Protection” for iOS interface) ?
  • Posts and Moments proving the account’s age (6 months, 1 year, 2 years, etc.) ?
  • Other security settings (Video or screenshot of linked Email information, QQ ID, Facebook linkage).

Step 1: Check Required Information

Step 3: Change Linked Phone Number

  • Go to Settings and change the phone number to the one we provide.
  • We will provide the OTP. After the number change is complete, please await our login.

Step 4: Awaiting Login and Status Update

  • Our team will log in within the day; please kindly wait.
  • Depending on whether the number change is to +86 or +84, there are different considerations:

Please note that after successfully changing to a Chinese (+86) phone number, the account will automatically log out after 5-7 minutes and display a “Data migration in progress…” notification. This is a migration process from WeChat to Weixin and DOES NOT MEAN IT HAS BEEN LOGGED IN ON ANOTHER DEVICE.
New users transacting can log in again immediately afterwards and keep the account logged in until our team logs in, at which point a message “Your account has been logged in on [Device Name]…” will appear. Once our team has logged in, absolutely DO NOT LOG IN AGAIN. We are not responsible if the account gets locked.

Step 5: Await Account Status Report

As noted in Step 4, if the number is changed to +86, the status will be summarized at the end of the day.

If changing the number or no number change is required, and the account is sold via QR code scan, results will be reported immediately.

Step 6: Additional Requirements (if any)

If the account is [OK], with no unusual risks during the warranty period, then the account has been successfully sold.

Some new customers may be required to record a video of deleting the app if necessary. Our team will provide detailed instructions + sample video on our Zalo channel.

Step 7: Payment

  • Customers send PayPal, Cryptocurrency, (or other preferred payment methods). We can transfer funds via various methods as requested by the customer: Bank transfer, PayPal, USDT, Chinese Yuan.

Payment specifics: For accounts on Android with a Vietnamese number change, payment will be processed immediately after the 30-40 minute warranty period, depending on the account type. For iPhone accounts, funds may be held for 7 days, or transactions may only proceed with returning customers.
For accounts with Chinese number changes, status will be communicated. If no error photos are submitted, the account is by default considered OK (we cannot provide detailed updates for every individual). We will consolidate all orders after 9 PM – 11 PM on the same day. (Accounts with number changes in the afternoon or evening will be paid the following day).

Frequently Asked Questions for WeChat Account Sales Transactions

  • Bao back: A commitment that the account will not be reclaimed in any form after the sale.
  • Bao log: Warranty coverage for the agreed-upon period.

*Both of these will be lost when moving to a new device or changing the phone number to a different region code.

  • If changing the phone number within the same region code, you can change it up to 5 times per WeChat account in 1 year. This means if you have already changed the number 5 times, you cannot do it again.
  • One phone number can be linked a maximum of 5 times in 1 year.
  • For any phone number change across different region codes: +852/+853/+86, you can only change it back to the original region code after 180 days.

Remember to screenshot your WeChat account ID.

The price will be 5-10 USD VND higher than a regular account.

Requirements:

  • WeChat Pay wallet must be fully functional.
  • No face scan required.
  • Payment password available.
  • Complete verification information for the wallet, such as: Name, ID card number, phone number, etc.

A warranty period of 30 minutes to 1 hour is necessary because we need the account to successfully log in on our device or the customer’s device. Accounts that get locked during the warranty period will be returned, and we are not responsible for compensation or deposit refunds. The nature of locked accounts can partly depend on factors like low account interaction, or accounts created on cloned apps.

If a restricted account can still add friends and send messages, it can be sold. Accounts blocked from adding friends cannot be sold. You can scan the QR code at the bottom of this page to check.

What is a WeChat Account Status?

When an account is handed over to our customers and successfully logged in within the 30-40 minute warranty period, it is considered [OK] and meets the standard if it is not restricted or blocked from logging in on a new device.

Normal Account: This is the status displayed after checking, indicating the account is fully functional. All WeChat features, and any websites or services linked to your WeChat account, will operate normally.

Reason for Lock: May be due to adding too many friends or being invited into too many groups.

Cannot Add Friends: Others also cannot add you as a friend through any method, such as QR code, ID, or phone number search.

Cannot Chat in Groups: You can receive messages in groups, but cannot send messages or tag anyone.

Others Cannot Invite You to Groups: Someone wishing to invite you to a group will be unable to add you.

Cannot Use WeCom: As a business messaging tool, partners collaborating with Chinese entities via WeCom will be unable to connect with each other.

Permanently Locked: The account cannot be unblocked. When this notification appears, the account is considered abandoned. If the account still has a wallet (WeChat Pay), funds can still be withdrawn normally.
